Haha..it was 9:30 in my clock and so I started to get ready to go for Church. Around 10:30 left home, but I noticed that crowd was not the usual one and so had a small doubt. Then I came to know that I should have adjusted my clock to 1 hour behind i.e. the actual time was 9:30 and not 10:30.

So wondering what’s this daylight saving time means. If you have the patience and also eager to know what it is. Just read this Click here

Hmm…. I just came to know that we can earn money by taking pics of nature and upload in the web so that those who like it will download it to use as desktop image. I’ll earn money based on how many people download the images I took. Recently I hope all of you received couple of pics I took regarding the fall season. Just two snaps of it

So after sometime, am planning to get good camera and start the work, coz places are too cool and nice here.
What you people say, can I ?

Hmm…was waiting for this day long time back, but didn’t have much time to work on it. But now it did work, haha my Widows OS got corrupted and so I was suggested to go for Linux ( Coz it’s cool and also easy to work once we get used to it ) So now I am on Linux and not WindowsXP anymore

Well, it’s always nice to learn about things before using it. So when I went surfing to find what’s the difference btw Windows OS and Linux OS ? The answer was FILE SYSTEM, yes when we get into details of it these were the things

In both Windows and Linux, ROOT directory is lot more important. Cause ROOT is base of entire file system. In windows every drive and removable drive has it’s own root directory ( c:, d: etc ) with folders branching off it.

But in Linux only one central ROOT directory and the every device and files in the computer branching off it. Linux has something called VFS ( Virtual File System ). For example, they said that in Windows each drive is it’s own tree with files and folders being the branches. In Linux VFS, there’s only one much larger tree and everything ( drives etc..) are stored somewhere within it’s branches.

We also have mounting the drive or device, which means when we add removable media or new hardware to Linux system, a directory is created through which the data on that device can be accessed.

We use OpenOffice software suite for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and more. While saving the word document, we just gotta make sure to save as .doc coz by default it saves as ODF text document, where client can’t open the word document if they are using Windows. So I’ve started to learn more about Linux OS to use it and no plans of returning to Windows

One major problem that’s been solved for me is that I don’t have to use anti-virus anymore , haha..cool.

It’s always interesting to hear people share their experiences about the accidents they escaped in fraction of second. Towards end some elders say, hmm..your grandparents may have done some good deeds and that’s why you escaped. If it’s true, then maybe my grand parents did too. Alright I am going to share two incidents where I escaped death twice in my life.

8th std:

Hope you all know that during the month of April it’s usual for us to go to school in the afternoon rather than morning coz our seniors ( 12th std ) will have their public exams in the morning. Yes, I had to go to school in the afternoon, around 11 I started from my Aunt’s house. Reached my school in 15 mins and went to my class, had nice time. It was about 2:35, I went downstairs for some work. While climbing the stairs again to go to my class, I started to feel uneasy coz I felt dizzy. Somehow manage to climb the stairs, unfortunately 4 of my friends blocked my way halfway through the staircase. It was like, me climbing up and they were coming down and as usual started to play with me blocking the way.

I told them please give me way, coz I feel like fainting. These people thought that I am kidding. In few seconds, I started rolling down the stairs and all girls as usual screaming like hell. Then somehow I managed to stand towards down the stairs but it didn’t last. It was like someone pushing me back ( but no one did ) I landed against the wall with one heavy blow right at back of my head ( it’s always dangerous to get blow at back of your head ) and fell down. The last thing I knew was all my friends trying to wake me up and I am closing my eyes for one last time. In few seconds everything became dead silent and angels coming and taking me to paradise but suddenly some one splashed water over my face and I woke up half conscious. Finally, the staff told my friend to take me safely to home. Then somehow reached home, I was examined by the doctor. First, she asked me what I had in afternoon then I said I had lot of peanuts and that was the reason for this fainting all of sudden. Fainting coz of something called Pitham. haha…cool

10th std:

Started to school in morning on my bicycle. I have to cross a intersection of fours roads, when I was about to cross I found out that the brake wasn’t working cool. So while I was about to cross the road, a Maruthi Omni came perpendicular to me. Then it was my time to go for brake, great! all I can do was to bring my bicycle to halt with my right leg, while I was doing it was too late for me to escape. Thank God, the person inside car went for sudden brake and it happened that we collided but not too close. Somehow I managed not to hit against the car’s front glass. But I got one blow on my thigh ( not too heavy ) Since it was my fault I apologized the person in the car and as usual they started to yell at me. Went to school, came back home and acted normal as if nothing happened that day

So now you say, my grand parents did some deed for sure right
